Happy Veteran’s Day!!
Please take a moment today to remember those who have served as well as those who are serving the USA. The men and women who protect our country deserve our thoughts today and big THANK-YOU!! Also take a moment to remember the military canine’s that also serve our country and risk their lives each day to make sure we are free to live in peace.
Happy Veteran’s Day!

November 3rd, 2008

Tomorrow is Election Day and you can help support Greyhounds in Massachusetts by voting YES on Question 3. They need our help in phasing out Dog Racing in Massachusetts as well as stopping the abuse they encounter each day. So please Vote Yes and spread the word.
Above you will see picture a group of rescue Greyhounds that met at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport yesterday for a Greyhound Walk. Somewhere in that picture is one of our students with Phoenix a rescue Greyhound that they adopted this past summer. Phoenix is in our Advanced beginner Class and can now sit and more!

Please take a moment and look at the above link and step up to the plate and protect Greyhounds and other Sight hounds by voting YES on Question 3 this election day. As dog lovers and trainers we have seen the effects of dog racing first hand in the rescue Greyhounds that attend classes here at The Curious Canine. Do your research but think about the life of a racing dog and do the right thing by stopping dog racing this election day. VOTE Yes on question 3…Thanks.

A Day At The Beach

October 5th, 2008

phoenix_beach.jpg

Karen and I are always asking our studnets to take their dogs to new places to explore the world they live in and socialize…well one of our students sent me this photo of their dog Phoenix doing just that. Michael and Phoenix spent the day at Cranes Beach where they met up with 30 more Greyhounds for a walk. Life doesn’t get much better than spending a day at the beach and having a loving dog to enjoy it with you!!
